Things most Furniture stores will never tell you

You might have experienced this once or each time you buy a furniture. It does not live up to the expectation. Or you are not warned regarding the precautions to be taken while using a particular piece of furniture. Worry not. We are here to break it down for you. In this blog, we shall discuss some general queries regarding how to choose the right furniture and how to care for them.
Salesperson at furniture stores work at about 90 to 100 % on commission. Therefore, they may try to sell you anything. And I mean anything, even the chairs they have kept for office use. Jokes apart, What I am trying to suggest here is that it is good to do some of your own checks to see whether the furniture is good for your home or not.
First of all, a furniture should never wobble. A wobbling furniture means weak joints and such furniture is prone to give away under weight. Always choose a furniture with solid joints.
If you are going for a wooden furniture, prefer a solid wood furniture if it's in your budget over the one made with veneer wood. Former is tough and cracks/scratches are easy to repair in it. Latter demands more maintenance and is prone to chipping. But if maintained properly, veneer finish can last for decades.
Also, it is a good thing to inspect the furniture by look and feel. Always enquire regarding the warranty beforehand so that there are no misconceptions or illusions later on.
Furniture by Iconic Furniture, the leading furniture store in Mississauga, ticks all the boxes in your check list when it comes to quality furniture. There are no hidden charges nor are there any false promises. Just pure happiness is what you'll take home along with that sofa set you coveted.
